Hi, I'm WikiPuppies. You may or may not have seen me around (I'm a gnome, so chances are the latter applies), but I'm here, silently reverting vandalism, fixing typographical errors, and in general doing the "grunt work" of keeping the encyclopedia going, to the 5,000,000 article and beyond.
You may notice that I tend to appear randomly. This is because I have wildly varying schedules from day to day, so no one time is ever a time when I'm guaranteed to be around.
Tip of the day
[edit]Fansites, forums, & other web page articles
When creating articles on forums, fansites, or other webpages, remember that Wikipedia has two notability requirements for these types of articles. These requirements are:
- The content itself has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the site itself
- The website or content has won a well known and independent award
While a particular website need not meet both of these requirements, it should meet at least one of them.
